Apheresis-based blood purification – the principle of Inuspherese®
Inuspheresis® belongs to the group of therapeutic apheresis procedures. Blood is drawn from the body via a venous access, passed through a specialized filter, and then returned purified. The filter used is designed to bind a broad spectrum of harmful substances: misdirected antibodies, inflammatory mediators, pathogenic lipids such as oxidized LDL and lipoprotein(a), as well as protein-bound toxins and heavy metals.
